Let me know if I am being redundant by posting photos of the same sampler inching along, but the Thompson oval sampler continues on after six drafts, and going strong.  It's one thing charting a sampler done entirely in cross stitch and relatively symmetrical, but this girl pulled out all of her tricks and trying to reinterpret her work isn't easy.  My goal is to translate the pattern into something that all of you can decipher, as close to the original look as possible.  We can discuss the migraines later.  The second photo shows the next piece in line for reproduction, unless something more exciting distracts me. Love to all.

Marsha, I am so excited for the Oval Sampler! Sorry about the migraines it is causing, but I cannot wait for the release date!
And the new one is fabulous! Clearly many more SL samplers in my future! :)

Marsha, both samplers are lovely. I am in awe of your reproduction skills! Please keep the photos coming as they are very exciting. Also, in an earlier post you posted some photos of your sampler displays. Would there be any chance of more photos, especially the 17th century samplers? (Please, pretty please.). I could look at those photos all day!

Please keep the photos coming. I am very interested to learn more about how you chart a sampler.

The figures below the swans on the next sampler look interesting, Are they wearing all-in ones ?

Marsha,

Ditto with the others.... Your photo's and your reproductions are what we all live for. There was a sampler I saw years ago in one of your calendars, the month of August. It was the most beautiful samplers I had ever seen. I asked then if you would ever reproduce it, my guess it was too extensive. I wish I still had the calendar to refer back and to keep wishing.......
