Gennett Clapp's Sampler finished

Sunny and warm greetings from Belgium!

Yesterday I finished Gennett Clapp's sampler. And here are a few pictures:
Sampler is stitched on 35ct Zweigart Edinburgh Flax with DMC and The Gentle Art threads. Dimensions of finished piece are 29,5cm W x 40cm H.

I still haven't decided which will be the next SL sampler. It may take some time before I start a new one. Now we are heading a long trip to Latvia to visit my family and friends. It is 2000km drive one way. Still, traveling by car seems to be the best solution, because we take our dog with us.

Happy to hear it is warm and sunny. Enjoy your weekend and we all look forward to seeing your next SL pick. My mom has this sampler in her stash of things to do. I guess I should take a closer look, as it is an Ohio sampler.

Ingun, your finished sampler is beautiful! As Gennett Clapp is an Ohio sampler, and I am a native Ohioan, I have always wanted to stitch her. I vaguely remember the original being on an uneven weave linen, and I think that kind of put me off. I am pleased to see yours don on 35 count, I need to do this sampler!
