Country Life update

I am so enjoying sewing this beautiful sampler - I have finished all 3 rows of the border, but lots of flowers etc to do as I move along.  Just wanted to start something in the middle - the church is lovely to sew.
Sorry that the whole piece looks so crumpled, but hope this gives you an idea of how big this sampler will be!
And here I am, caught sitting on our porch this afternoon with an iced tea and my cross-stitch - pure heaven.
I hope you are all good, and those in the UK are enjoying this amazing weather - it seems a long time since we have had long hot sunny days over here!  It was 31 degrees on the porch today.
Have a good week!

It definitely has been hot, almost too hot to stitch. I could sit there with you Angie for a chin wag and a stitching session anytime :o))

What a beautiful place to stitch, I hope it wasn't too hot. I have tried stitching on my backyard patio, but in the summer, it is just to hot and hummid. Love seeing your progress and glad to have already completed this one.
